Island Villa Resort

Ström Architects were tasked with designing three unique villa pre-concept styles reflecting the
resort's philosophy of “eternal nature.”

This expansive 400-hectare island resort, accessible only by boat, boasts nine-kilometres of unspoiled beaches and vibrant offshore coral reefs, surrounded by mangroves and nature reserves. The project includes second homes, a marina, a boutique hotel, condominiums, a souq, and retail spaces.

Our brief focused on three distinct villa concepts tailored to specific locations: golf course, beachfront, and sunset views. Each villa encapsulates the idea of “barefoot luxury,” merging elegance with a relaxed atmosphere.

The architecture integrates natural materials, prioritising privacy and outdoor living, creating private escapes within their landscapes. Carefully crafted, each villa concept reflects the surrounding beauty, with interior designs and landscaping closely connected to outdoor environments.

From tranquil beachfront retreats to golf course-facing residences and sunset-inspired homes, the designs provide residents with seamless indoor-outdoor experiences that resonate with the resort’s commitment to understated luxury and timeless natural beauty.
